良牧歸詩匠，雅風消欝蒸，官清難滯爵，吏散遠同僧。
棠樹非煙合，仙槎碧浪乘，因思窮萬化（使君早製圓明鑑圖冠之序引，或聞或見令人曠達），
千古更無能。

A good shepherd has returned to being a master of poetry; / His refined air dispels the stifling heat. / In pure officialdom, titles can hardly detain him; / When the clerks disperse, from afar he resembles a monk. / Crab-apple trees are wrapped in wondrous vapor; / A celestial raft rides upon the azure waves. / Hence I reflect on exhausting the ten thousand transformations—(The Governor had previously composed an 'Illustration of the Mirror of Perfect Luminosity' with a preface; hearing or seeing it brings vast liberation)— / Across a thousand ages, no one else is capable.
