6.290

范陽居士來鄞水，動地仙颷向人起，乳峯直上雲霞開，
步驟天衢到如此。茫茫塵世誰知交，
當場問我非相饒，禪家畢竟無他事，古雪巖前曾未消。
俄然悵望辭叢室，荷負難兮淚深溢，
遠幸流方且莫論，再得從容又何日。迢迢故國殊存想，
冷碧柯山分指掌，況有覺雄華嚴師，
歸去百城共遊賞。

The retired scholar of Fanyang came to the Yin River, / An earth-shaking immortal gale rising toward men. / Ascending straight up Breast Peak, clouds and mist parted; / Galloping along the heavenly avenue, he reached such a state. / In the vast dust-realm, who is a true friend? / Questioning me on the spot, he showed no quarter. / In the Chan school, after all, there is no other business: / The ancient snow before the crag has never yet melted. / Suddenly, with regretful longing, you take leave of the monastery; / Bearing the burden is difficult, and tears brim deep. / Let us not speak of your distant fortune to other lands; / On what day will we converse at ease again? / Boundless is your yearning for your old home; / The cold azure of Mount Ke is grasped within your palm. / Moreover, there is the Great Hero, Master Huayan; / Returning together, you will roam and enjoy the hundred cities.
