碧岫層層列杳冥，漣漪環繞賁寒青，韜藏未識古君子，
空仰嘉聲過洞庭。

Green peaks in layers are arrayed in the dark distance;
Ripples circle round, adorning the cold green.
Concealed and hidden, you have not yet recognized the ancient gentleman;
In vain I admire your fine reputation crossing Lake Dongting.
