臨濟金剛王寶劍，德山末後句，藥嶠一句子，祕魔杈，俱胝指，雪峯輥毬，禾山打鼓，趙州喫茶，楊岐栗棘蓬金剛圈，皆一致爾。契證得直下省力，一切祖師言教無不通達，唯在當人善自護持爾。

Linji's Vajra King jewel sword, Deshan's final word, Yaoshan's single phrase, Bimo's pitchfork, Juti's finger, Xuefeng's rolling ball, Heshan's beating drum, Zhaozhou's drinking tea, and Yangqi's chestnut burr and diamond cage—all are of one accord. When one accords with and verifies it, directly one saves effort; none of the verbal teachings of all the ancestral masters are not penetrated. It only depends on the person themselves skillfully guarding and maintaining it.
