皎皎清光，遍界莫藏，聲拋不出，色豈能彰？直下斬釘截鐵，剗却古今途轍，高出臨濟德山，三人證龜成鼈，別別，一回喫水一回噎。

Bright and pure light, cannot be hidden anywhere in the world. / Sound cannot cast it out; how could form make it evident? / Directly cutting nails and shearing iron, clearing away the paths of ancient and modern. / Towering above Linji and Deshan: 'Three people testify that a tortoise is a turtle.' / Exceptional, exceptional! Every time you drink water, you choke.
