一句單提越祖佛，痛劄針錐窮徹骨，出門便作師子兒，
敵勝驚群資返擲。平江古來豪俠窟，
去去先通箇消息，此行不作等閑來，八面清風起衣裓。

A single phrase held up alone surpasses patriarchs and buddhas; / Piercing painfully like needles and awls, it penetrates to the bone. / Leaving the gate, immediately act as a lion's cub: / Conquering rivals and startling the herd with leaping prowess. / Pingjiang has been the lair of heroes since ancient times; / Go, go, and first convey this message! / This journey is not taken in vain: / Pure breezes from eight directions rise from your robes.
