20.43

當陽提起截千差，誰信風流出當家，要入廛中通一線，
等閑開取鉢曇華。善專對，不辱命，
乃見摩醯三眼正，引著群靈使共行，明明直截曹溪徑。

Directly bringing it up, cut off a thousand distinctions; / Who would believe that true elegance emerges from the direct lineage? / To enter the marketplace and open a single thread of a path, / In an ordinary manner, open the udumbara blossom. / Skillful in dedicated replies, not dishonouring the mission, / One truly sees the three eyes of Maheśvara upright. / Leading the multitudes of spirits to walk together, / Clearly and directly cut through the path of Caoxi.
