奮雷霹靂，赤肉團壁立，星飛電擊，臨濟命脈，渠儂突出。驀地面門拶出，初無一物，三玄三要輝赫，分付佛智，碎却人窠窟，與祖宗雪屈。咄！

Rousing thunder and lightning bolts, / Standing sheer as a wall of red flesh; / Shooting stars and flashing lightning, / Linji's life-vein: / That fellow abruptly leaps out. / Suddenly squeezed out through the sense gates, / Originally there is not a single thing. / The three mysteries and three essentials shine brilliantly; / Entrusted to Fozhi, / They smash people's dens / And redress the grievance for the ancestral founders. / Bah!
