20.9

昔聞沈巨浸，一舉十二鼇，持此淨華宿，曾未及秋毫，
濛濛大象中，出沒安可逃，只自且循緣，著意真徒勞。

Formerly I heard of the great submergence, / Lifting twelve sea turtles at a single stroke. / Keeping this pure flower through the night, / It has not yet reached the autumn hair. / Dim and vast amidst the great forms, / How could emerging and submerging be escaped? / Just follow conditions for now; / Applying intent is truly in vain.
