6.15

He ascended the hall and said: "Great assembly! Upon the mass of red flesh, each person has the ancient Buddha's ancestral style; on the crown of Vairocana's head, everywhere is the Patriarchs' handle. Bring forward one dynamic, and thousands and tens of thousands of dynamics are fully penetrated; use one phrase, and thousands and tens of thousands of phrases circulate unimpeded. Not relying on others, one's own functioning is fully revealed. If everyone reflects inward in this way, then from antiquity through the present, solidly tranquil and illumining, this single segment of radiance is neither internal nor external, neither matter nor mind. Striking with a staff cannot hit it; giving a shout cannot frighten it away. Reaching the point of being utterly bare and naked, it is the forbearance of non-arising of dharmas and the non-retrogressing wheel, cutting off both ends to return home and sit securely. Just at such a moment, there is no need to seek elsewhere; this right here is the Western Direction."
