臨濟會中，兩堂首座齊下喝，僧問：「還有賓主也無？」濟云：「賓主歷然。」頌云：
In Linji's assembly, the head monks of the two halls shouted at the same time. A monk asked, "Was there a host and a guest, or not?" Linji said, "Host and guest were distinct." The verse says:
