浮盃和尚因凌行婆問：「盡力道不得底句，分付阿誰？」盃云：「浮盃無剩語。」婆云：「未到浮盃，不妨疑著。」盃云：「別有長處，不妨拈出。」婆歛手哭云：「蒼天中更添冤苦。」盃無語，婆云：「語不識偏正，理不知倒邪，為人即禍生。」頌云：

Venerable Fubei was asked by Old Woman Ling, 'To whom do you entrust the phrase that cannot be expressed with all one's might?' Fubei said, 'Fubei has no surplus words.' The old woman said, 'Before reaching Fubei, one may well have doubted it.' Fubei said, 'If there is any other strong point, you may well produce it.' The old woman folded her hands and wept, saying, 'To the blue heaven, further injustice and suffering are added!' Fubei was silent. The old woman said, 'Words not discerning the partial and correct, principle not knowing upside-down and deviant—attempting to guide people, disaster is born.' A verse says:
