「深淺聊將拄杖探，忽然平地起波瀾，傾湫倒嶽驚天地，到海方知徹底乾。」
"For a moment with a staff he probes the deep and shallow; / Suddenly upon flat ground waves and billows arise. / Emptying pools and toppling peaks, he startles Heaven and Earth; / Only upon reaching the sea does he know it is thoroughly dry."
