11.24

「妙高堂，隨所至，牓未懸，落第二。似猛焰，藏蚊蚋，擬承當，生妄計。德雲師，安有作？在別峯，亦寬廓。住佛地，何所託？我作銘，任圖度。」

"Hall of Wondrous Heights: / Wherever you arrive, / Before the signboard is hung, / It has fallen into the secondary. / Like a fierce blaze / Harboring mosquitoes and gnats; / Intending to undertake it, / Deluded calculations arise. / Master Deyun: / How could he have any contrivance? / On another peak, / It is also broad and open. / Dwelling in the buddha-stage, / What is there to rely upon? / I compose this inscription, / Letting you speculate at will."
