汝求吾之讚，復讚吾之真，大海絕涓滴，須彌無一塵，以訐為直而非直，以察為明而非明。
象王回旋，師子嚬呻，性不可會，瞥喜瞥瞋。與佛祖為冤敵，與魔外為親姻，自是其是而人不汝是，自神其神而人不汝神。如此為人善知識，少喫酸醋三五升。

You request my eulogy and in turn praise my true form: / In the great sea not a single drop is left, / On Mount Sumeru not a speck of dust remains. / Taking contention as rectitude is not rectitude; / Taking scrutiny as discernment is not discernment. / The elephant king turns around, the lion roars and stretches; / His nature cannot be grasped: a flash of joy, a flash of wrath. / An enemy to buddhas and patriarchs, / A kinsman to demons and non-Buddhists; / Believing yourself right while others do not agree, / Thinking yourself divine while others do not deem you divine. / Acting as a good spiritual friend in this way, / You should drink three to five pints less of sour vinegar!
