䖃苴全似川僧，蕭灑渾如浙客，偏向情未生時，拈出報慈一隔。尊性不定，莫可窺測，見小時嫌蟭螟眼太寬，見大時謂太虛空忒窄。似這般底阿師，如何受人天供養，好與劈腮一摑。

Slovenly, just like a monk from Sichuan; carefree, completely like a guest from Zhejiang. He turns particularly to the time before feelings arise to bring forth Baoci's single partition. His venerable nature is unfixed, impossible to fathom: seeing small, he dislikes the fly's eye as too broad; seeing large, he calls great empty space overly cramped. How can a master of this sort receive offerings from humans and devas? Better to give him a slap across the cheek.
