12.146

有德必有光，其光無間隔，名實要相稱，非青黃赤白。參徹佛祖頂𩕳禪，不是等閑相誑嚇，
我所參得底，只要涅槃堂裏用，且不聽杜撰禪師三千八百畫。吾為作證明，他年將作軌格。

Where there is virtue, there must be light; / Its light is without interval. / Name and reality must correspond; / It is neither blue, yellow, red, nor white. / Investigating thoroughly the Chan on the crowns of buddhas and patriarchs, / This is no casual deceit or intimidation. / What I have penetrated through investigation / Is only for use in the Nirvāṇa Hall, / Not paying heed to a fabricated Chan master's three thousand eight hundred brushstrokes. / I bear witness for him: / In future years he will serve as a model.
