12.31

開雪峯口，出睦州氣，袖手儼然，耽耽虎視。我說是言，有語無義，石火電光，咄哉鈍滯。伽梨勃窣知是誰，有人續得末後句，許爾親見渠儂。

Opening the mouth of Xuefeng, giving vent to the energy of Muzhou,
hands in his sleeves with solemn composure, glaring like a watching tiger.
As I say these words, there is speech without meaning;
sparks from flint, flashes of lightning—bah, what dull hesitation!
Dragging his kāṣāya, who knows who he is?
If someone can continue the final phrase, I allow that you have met him in person.
