示無作相，擊塗毒鼓，行無緣慈，誅佛誅祖。如是見得普融，妙喜未敢相許。直下來也，如龍似虎，一槌打破太虛空，至今一缺無人補。

Manifesting the mark of non-action, striking the poisoned drum;
practicing causeless compassion, slaying buddhas and slaying patriarchs.
If one perceives Purong like this, Miaoxi does not dare concede to him.
Coming straight forth, like a dragon, like a tiger;
with one hammer strike shattering great empty space, to this day there is a breach that no one can mend.
