12.66

厚重如山，嚴冷似鐵，破毘盧印，坐衲僧舌。派出靈源，源清流徹，指曜靈寒，呼顧兔熱。謂此是長靈，眼中重著屑，謂此非長靈，知君猶未瞥。是耶非耶，俱為剩說，真耶妄耶，水中捉月。
而今要見這老人，剔起眉毛須辨別，嘉州大像喫一槌，陝府鐵牛流出血。

Heavy as a mountain, stern and cold as iron,
shattering the Vairocana seal, sitting upon patch-robed monks' tongues.
Branching out from the spiritual source, the source is pure and the stream flows clear;
pointing to the sun as cold, calling the moon hot.
Saying this is Changling, dust is added to your eyes; saying this is not Changling, I know you have not glimpsed him yet.
Is it? Is it not? Both are superfluous talk. Is it real? Is it false? Grasping the moon in water.
If you now want to see this old man, you must raise your eyebrows and discern:
the great statue of Jiazhou takes a blow, and the iron bull of Shan Prefecture bleeds.
