這漢沒量罪過，不合引惹措大，被渠笑裏藏刀，殺却吾祖達磨。不知有底冤讐，一向興災作禍。杲上座，諾，惺惺著，莫教話墮。

This fellow's offenses are beyond measure; he ought not to have provoked scholar-officials. He had a dagger concealed in his smile, which killed our ancestor Bodhidharma. Without knowing what ancient feud it was, he brought about disaster and calamity unceasingly. Senior Monk Gao! Yes! Be alert; do not let your words stumble into error.
