雲門妙喜真，雲臺居士畫，利鈍不相資，展向虛堂挂。妙喜利中鈍，鈍得顢頇；雲臺鈍中利，
利得脫灑。如今利鈍都挂壁，師子飜身絕蹤跡。蹤跡無。便塗糊，一時分付儲大夫，唵摩尼達里悉利蘇盧。

The portrait of Miaoxi of Yunmen, / Painted by Layman Yuntai; / Sharp and dull do not complement each other, / Yet unrolled and hung in the empty hall. / Miaoxi is dull within sharpness, / So dull as to be muddle-headed; / Yuntai is sharp within dullness, / So sharp as to be untrammeled and carefree. / Now sharp and dull are both hung on the wall; / The lion turns around, obliterating every trace. / Traces gone, / Then smudged out, / Delivered all at once to Grand Master Chu: / oṃ maṇi dhāre sili suru.
