浴佛上堂云：「大家潑一杓惡水，洗滌如來淨邊垢，垢盡眾生煩惱除，狐狸便作師子吼。」
Ascending the hall on the Buddha's Bathing Day, he said: "Everyone pours a ladle of foul water / to wash away the defilement of purity from the Tathāgata. / When defilements are exhausted, the afflictions of sentient beings are removed, / and the fox roars like a lion."
