7.19

示眾，拈拄杖云：「休誇棒下無生忍，撥置當陽掣電機，未屙已前驀提得。」遂卓一下云：「一擊自然亡所知。」喝一喝。

Instructing the assembly, [the Master] took up his staff and said: "Do not boast of the forbearance of non-arising beneath the staff; brushed aside directly in the sun, lightning flashes. Before defecating, suddenly grasp it." He then struck once and said, "A single strike naturally obliterates what was known." He gave a shout.
