6.37

The Master lived to the age of seventy-five, with fifty-eight summer retreats. Among the monks and laity who attained the dharma and achieved thorough awakening under the Master, there were no fewer than several tens of people, all of whom were renowned in their day. Dingsu, Siye, Miguang, Wuben, Shoujing, Daoqian, Zunpu, Zuyuan, and Chongmi passed away before the Master. Our Grand Lady of the State of Qin also once inquired of the Way under the Master.
