真淨和尚退洞山，遊浙至滁州瑯瑯起和尚處，因眾請小參，真淨貶剝諸方異見邪解，無所忌憚，下座見起和尚云：「堂頭在此，賴是別無甚言語。」起云：「爾也得也。」二人相顧大笑而去。

When Venerable Zhenjing retired from Dongshan, he traveled through Zhe and arrived in Chuzhou at the place of Venerable Qi of Langya. Because the assembly requested an informal gathering, Zhenjing dissected and exposed the divergent views and false understandings of various regions without any inhibition. Stepping down from the seat, he saw Venerable Qi and said, "The abbot being present, it was lucky that there were no other words." Qi said, "You too have hit the mark." The two looked at each other, laughed loudly, and walked away.
