指法座云：「此座高廣，從古若佛若祖，盡向頂𩕳上揚塵簸土埋沒己靈，今日當頭坐斷，直教八面風清。」

Pointing to the Dharma seat, he said: "This seat is high and wide. From antiquity, whether Buddhas or ancestors, all have raised dust and winnowed earth atop their crowns, burying their own spirit. Today, sitting directly upon it, I shall cause the wind to be clear on all eight sides."
