赤手全提，金圈栗棘，跳出三要三玄，破蕩佛祖窠窟。試問有何神通，盡力吐露不出？咄！咄！佛日長老，與麼拈出？

With bare hands bringing up the whole, a golden circle and chestnut burr;
he leaps out of the three essentials and three mysteries, tearing apart the lairs of Buddhas and patriarchs.
Let us ask: what supernatural powers does he possess, that though exhausting his strength he cannot spit it out?
Bah! Bah! Elder Fori, why bring it out like this?
