靈隱佛海禪師遺書至，上堂，僧問：「昨夜春風偶發惡，掀倒飛來峯倒卓，嘉州大象喫一拳，陝府鐵牛攧折角。正與麼時，佛海禪師遷化向什麼處去？」師云：「大眾證明。」進云：「恁麼則煩惱海中為雨露，無明山下起雲雷。」師云：「川僧得與麼䖃苴。」師乃云：「呼猿洞口，虛空迸裂，鵶飛不度，如行如說。三十三天撲帝鐘，打刀須是邠州鐵。」喝一喝，下座。

The Master then said: "At the mouth of Ape-Calling Cave, empty space bursts open; crows fly and cannot cross, acting as they speak and speaking as they act. In the Thirty-three Heavens, the emperor's bell is overturned; to forge a sword, it must be iron from Bin Prefecture." He gave a shout and descended from the seat.
