上堂：「放一線道，四方八面絕遮攔；收一毛頭，無邊剎海煙塵起；不收不放，萬松口似磉盤，是汝諸人也須救取。」

Ascending the hall: "Let go of a single path, and in the four directions and eight quarters obstruction is completely cut off; gather in a single hair-tip, and smoke and dust rise in boundless ocean-worlds. Neither gathering nor letting go, Wansong's mouth is like a pillar-base stone—you all must also rescue it."
