赴雙林辭眾上堂：「入息不居陰界，出息不涉萬緣。為甚麼棄萬松入雙檮？會得主丈子束之高閣；不然，自笑一生無定力，行藏多被業風吹。」

Ascending the hall to bid farewell to the assembly upon departing for Shuanglin: "The incoming breath does not dwell in the realms of the skandhas; the outgoing breath does not engage the myriad conditions. Why abandon Wansong and enter Shuangchou? If you understand, store the staff high on the shelf; if not, I laugh at myself for having no samādhi power my whole life, my activities mostly blown by the winds of karma."
