中秋上堂：「一年有十二箇月，每月一度團圓，其餘盡是缺，中間晦明出沒，太半有不見者。惟有今宵，分外皎潔，無物堪比倫，教我如何說？」

Ascending the hall at Mid-Autumn: 'A year has twelve months; each month is round once. The rest are all waxing and waning; in between, waxing and waning, appearance and disappearance—for the most part they are unseen. Only tonight is it extraordinarily bright and clean; nothing can compare with it. How would you have me speak of it?'
