藏頭露影問來由，却把西江盡力詶，回首眼空天地窄，不知身在御街游。
Hiding his head and showing a shadow, he asks about the origin; / Yet [Mazu] answers him with all his might using the Western River. / Turning his head, his eyes are vacant and heaven and earth feel narrow, / Unaware that he is wandering down the imperial avenue.
