出家人務在潔清，淨勤策三業，不當塵俗污居。老夫偶適之，低細教育，令其照前所戒，潔己虛心，學業周身，以了出家本志。如其不然，請出此𢩁。

For a home-leaver, the priority lies in purity and cleanliness, purely and diligently urging on the three karmas; one should not abide polluted by dust and vulgarity. The old man happened to visit here, giving gentle and meticulous instruction, commanding him to follow the former admonitions, purifying himself and emptying his mind, with studies encompassing his entire person, so as to fulfill the original aspiration of leaving home. If it is not so, please leave this temple.
