古道兼禪到，躬行得幾年，乾坤資定力，心月鑑前緣。一靜人難學，三生話未圓，老來重有約，不在北山邊。

The ancient path reaches along with Chan;
How many years have you practiced in person?
Heaven and earth support the power of stability;
The mind-moon reflects prior affinities.
Quietness alone is hard for people to learn;
The talk of three lives is not yet complete.
Growing old, there is another appointment—
It will not be beside the Northern Mountains.
