上堂：「一出數日，所至溪山風物歷歷在目；歸來撾鼓陞堂，從頭又舉一遍。會麼？眼力到處，不被人謾。」

Ascending the hall: "Going out for several days, wherever I arrived, the streams, mountains, wind, and scenery were distinct before my eyes. Having returned, the drum was struck and I ascended the hall, raising it all once more from the beginning. Do you understand? Where the power of the eyes reaches, one is not deceived by others."
