臘八上堂：「入山不深，見地不脫，引得漆桶排頭妄想不歇。寶林有箇見處，只是不說。何故？臘月苦寒風雪吹，急急抽身早是遲。」

Ascending the hall on the eighth day of the twelfth month: "Not entering deep into the mountains, one's view is not free; / This causes the buckets of black lacquer, one after another, to never cease their deluded thoughts. / Baolin has a point of view, but simply does not speak of it. / Why? / In the bitter cold of the twelfth month, wind and snow blow; / Hurriedly pulling oneself away, one is already late."
