復舉：「雪峯領眾到浮江，乃問云：『欲寄二百僧過夏，得否？』浮江以主丈畫一畫云：『著不得。』」師云：「好峭互陳，對面千里，有人寄僧，過夏南山，大開東閤。何故？彼此出家兒。」

He also cited: "When Xuefeng led the assembly to Fujiang, he asked: 'I wish to lodge two hundred monks here for the summer retreat; is it permitted?' Fujiang drew a line with his staff and said: 'They cannot be accommodated.'" The Master said: "A fine and sharp deployment, a thousand miles face-to-face. If someone lodges monks for the summer retreat at Southern Mountain, I open wide the eastern chambers. Why? We are both children of the home-leaving life."
