入城持鉢，洗足宴趺，幸自可憐生，無端被善現出來道箇希有，伎倆消盡，直饒分分字字說盡葛藤，終是註解不出。子休禪人，知其敗闕處，率三十二人，力與之雪恥，儻於毫端未舉已前救得黃面老子，可不偉哉；其如引紙行墨，劍去久矣。

Entering the city holding the bowl, washing the feet and sitting cross-legged at ease—fortunate to be naturally lovely, yet for no reason Subhūti stepped forward and uttered 'rare and wonderful!'
