隔水何人歌竹枝，動人情思極幽微，夜深轉入單于調，
月朗風高聽者稀。

Across the water, who is singing 'Bamboo Branch'?
Stirring human sentiments, extremely subtle and faint.
Late in the night, it shifts into the melody of the Chanyu;
The moon is bright, the wind is high, and listeners are rare.
