虎丘隆禪師，參死心，心問：「爾是甚麼僧？」丘云：「行脚僧。」心云：「爾是何處村僧，行甚驢脚馬脚？」丘云：「廣南蠻道甚麼，何不高聲道？」心云：「却有些衲僧氣息。」遂留過夏。

When Chan Master Huqiu Long visited Sixin, Sixin asked, "What kind of monk are you?" Qiu said, "An itinerant pilgrimage monk." Sixin said, "From what village monk are you, and what kind of donkey-legs or horse-legs are you walking on?" Qiu said, "What is the barbarian from Guangnan saying? Why not say it in a louder voice?" Sixin said, "You actually have a bit of the scent of a patch-robed monk." He then kept him to pass the summer.
