一口吞盡三世佛，牙如劍樹眼如鈴，斷絃不必鸞膠續，
只要知音側耳聽。
In one gulp he swallows the Buddhas of the three periods whole; / Teeth like a forest of swords, eyes like brass bells. / A broken string needs no phoenix glue to mend: / It only requires an attuned listener to tilt his ear and hear.
