興在天南天盡頭，未行先已到新州，來時無口去無伴，
那更蕭蕭黃葉秋。

His aspiration lay at the southern edge of the sky, at heaven's end; / Before walking, he had already arrived in Xinzhou. / When he came he had no mouth; when he left he had no companion; / How much more so amid the rustling yellow leaves of autumn!
