舉：「藥山因僧問：『平田淺草，麈鹿成群，如何射得麈中麈？』山云：『看箭。』僧便放身倒，山云：『侍者拕出。』僧便走，山云：『弄泥團漢，有甚麼限？』」

He cited: "Because a monk asked, 'On the flat field where grass is shallow and elk and deer form herds, how can one shoot the elk among elks?', Yaoshan said: 'Watch the arrow!' The monk threw his body down. Yaoshan said: 'Attendant, drag him out!' The monk then ran away. Yaoshan said: 'This mud-ball-playing fellow—what limit is there to him?'"
