𢬵身躍入深淵，等閑握起龍首，腥風怒雷，烏飛兔走，
驚得慈明幾掣肘，乞兒伎倆不多，千古鱠炙人口，
好將白棒劈脊摟。咄。

Risking his life, he leaps into the deep pool, / and with utter ease seizes the dragon's head. / Stinking wind and wrathful thunder; the sun flies and the moon races, / frightening Ciming so much that his elbow was nearly pulled! / A beggar's tricks are not many, / yet for a thousand ages they have been on everyone's lips. / It were best to take a plain staff and strike him across the spine! / Bah!
