寒暑不到處，山窮石自枯，涕零知骨冷，隨分著工夫，
一卷無題目，持來傍石根，眼昏嫌字小，華梵恐難分。

Where heat and cold do not reach, / the mountains are exhausted and the rocks naturally barren. / Tears stream down, knowing the bone-chilling cold; / according to one's capacity, one applies effort. / A single scroll without a title / is brought and kept beside the base of the rock. / Dimmish eyes grudge the characters being small; / fearing Chinese and Sanskrit are hard to tell apart.
