呈真嚇殺盤山，對眾侮慢臨際，靜處畏影逃形，
鬧裏掀天撲地，鎮州城外活埋，至今雞驚犬吠。

Presenting his portrait scared Panshan to death; / before the assembly he slighted Linji. / In quiet places he feared his shadow and fled his form; / in bustling spots he overturned heaven and struck the earth. / Buried alive outside the city walls of Zhenzhou, / down to this day the chickens are startled and the dogs bark.
