6.300

煙水寒，扁舟小，華亭江上相尋討，負命底劈口一橈，
點頭處狼藉不少，父子怯相酬，誰道翻身早，
出黃蘆，入紅蓼，收拾𮈔綸，江天未曉。

Misty waters cold, the skiff small; / searching and inquiring upon the Huating River. / For one who gambled his life, an oar strike right across the mouth; / where he nodded his head, the mess was no small matter. / Father and son timidly settled accounts— / who says he flipped over too early? / Out of the yellow reeds, into the red smartweed; / gathering up the bamboo pole and line, day has not yet dawned over the river.
