6.310

凝而不結，混而常清，挺然嶽立，卒乎砥平。擬師之道兮，
虛空釘橛，美師之德兮，色裏膠青，
妙高萬疊兮，春歸錦鏡，翠螺一抹兮，霜後洞庭，
在彼在此兮，初無朕跡，或舒或卷兮，水赴滄溟，
遐想高躅兮，實我法城。

Congealed yet not frozen, / mixed yet constantly clear, / standing tall like a peak, / level like a whetstone. / Contemplating the Master's Way: / driving a stake into empty space! / Praising the Master's virtue: / blue lacquer within colors! / Miaogao's ten thousand folds: / spring returns to the Brocade Mirror; / a smear of emerald conch: / Lake Dongting after frost. / There and here: / originally without any sign; / now expanding, now contracting: / waters flowing into the azure ocean. / Longingly recalling his lofty footsteps: / truly a citadel of the Dharma for us.
