行脚不到大徹堂前，剛要凌滅應庵門戶，指柳罵楊，
吹沙嗅土，却笑謝郎眉忒竪，欲識中峯箇裏人，
無尾大蟲不是虎。

On his itinerant pilgrimage he never reached the front of Dache Hall, / yet he insisted on eclipsing the portal of Ying'an. / Pointing at the willow and cursing the poplar, / blowing sand and sniffing dirt, / he chuckled instead at Brother Xie's eyebrows knit so steeply. / If you wish to know the person inside Zhongfeng: / a tailless big bug is not a tiger.
